Defeat Anime RNG Mutations: Compare Units Before You Merge
See Blood with BLOSSOM and ANGELIC labels in Defeat Anime RNG gameplay, compare copies, and check what remains unknown before merging a rare unit.
What is confirmed about mutations?
The official description for Defeat Anime RNG lists mutations alongside rare units as things players can discover. That confirms they belong to the game, but it does not establish a complete set of mutation names, their effects, or the chance of obtaining each one.
Gameplay provides a more concrete comparison point. In Berlian kecil’s video published September 14, 2026 (UTC), the Units panel at 7:05 has Blood selected. Its detail panel reads Mythic, Physical, and BLOSSOM. A second Blood in the inventory has ANGELIC above its name.

Which modifier labels are visible?
| Unit shown | Visible modifier label | What this frame establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Blood, selected | BLOSSOM | The selected copy also has Mythic and Physical labels. |
| Blood, another copy | ANGELIC | Two Blood copies display different modifier labels in one inventory. |
| Tobeni | GENIUS | The inventory pairs this spelling with GENIUS. |
| Myukei | DIAMOND | The inventory pairs this spelling with DIAMOND. |
These are observed modifier labels, not a complete mutation database or a verified effect table. The frame does not explain how each label was obtained, what multiplier it applies, or whether it carries over during an upgrade.
The selected Blood also shows 57.7K, 4.0s, and 0% beside sword, hourglass, and dice icons. This compact panel does not write out the corresponding field names. We preserve the icon-and-value observations without calling them base stats or interpreting 0% as a unit roll probability. The unit cards reference distinguishes these values from Gura’s explicitly labeled detail fields.
Are GENIUS, Koben and Tobeni the same thing?
The code reward list records the reported Chainsaw reward as Genius Mutated Koben. Some guides use Kobeni instead. That spelling conflict should not create two separate unit records before the inventory identity is checked.
This frame adds a different observation: Tobeni appears with GENIUS. It does not show a Chainsaw redemption or prove that Tobeni, Koben and Kobeni refer to the same reward. The shared GENIUS wording alone cannot resolve the names.
Keep these card labels separate from the documented Traits interface. That screen explicitly labels Superior’s roll chance and damage effect; this Blood frame does not supply equivalent explanations for BLOSSOM or ANGELIC. Do not transfer a trait probability or bonus to a mutation label.
Compare copies without mixing up level and mutation
The most useful comparison is between two copies of the same unit at the same level. The two Blood labels give you something to look for in your own inventory, but their appearance in one frame is not a controlled strength comparison.
| Record this | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Exact unit name | Similar-looking characters may have different stats. |
| Unit level | A level difference can explain an apparent mutation advantage. |
| Modifier label and any effect text | Record the exact spelling; an unexplained label does not establish a bonus. |
| Trait | A different trait can change the comparison independently. |
| Visible stats | Compare the same fields on both copies. |
| Active boosts | A temporary effect can make two checks disagree. |
| Date and current update label | A later update may change the result. |
Take screenshots before changing either copy. If the game does not expose an effect or a stat, leave that part of the comparison unknown. A guessed percentage is less useful than a clear record of what the game actually shows.
After comparing the unit details, test the copies against the same encounter when possible. One unusually fast or slow fight is a reason to repeat a check, rather than proof of a mutation formula.
Before using a mutated unit in a merge
Merging to level up is confirmed by the official description. What happens to a mutation during that merge is not established by the same source.
- Identify the copy you want to keep and the copies the action will consume.
- Read the current merge requirements and any confirmation text.
- Check whether the result shows a mutation label or other effect information.
- If the result is unclear, keep the rare copy until you can verify the rule with a lower-value comparison or an official explanation.
This is a resource-preservation checklist, not a claim that merging always removes mutations. See merging and unit levels for the wider upgrade decision.
Can luck improve your mutation chance?
The developer advertises extra luck for liking the experience and joining its group. That statement does not explain whether the bonus changes mutation chances, ordinary unit chances, or both. It also does not supply a numerical multiplier.
Use the luck and group bonus guide to check the official bonus instructions. Keep a unit’s listed rarity separate from any observed mutation frequency; they are different claims and need separate evidence.
Sources and review date
Frame reviewed September 20, 2026. The Berlian kecil gameplay video at 7:05, published September 14, supplies the Blood details and inventory labels recorded above. The official Roblox experience description confirms the presence of mutations and merging.
The video is a dated interface observation, not a new current-server test. Mutation odds, named effects, and merge inheritance have not been independently verified. Our sources and verification policy explains how these evidence types are kept separate.
